Parlez-vous Francais?
Canada is seeking to attract more French-speaking immigrants outside of Quebec. This will help contribute to the vitality, development and prosperity of Francophone minority communities in Canada.
Additional points and simple work permits are currently available for French-speaking entry-level and skilled workers looking to immigrate to Canada, and plan to work and reside outside of Quebec.
If you speak both of Canada’s official languages (English and French) and you are planning to apply for Canadian permanent residence, you can also provide approved language test results in your second official language. Candidates can get additional points for their proficiency in their second official language in the Express Entry system.
If you speak French, have proof to confirm your French knowledge and receive a legitimate offer of employment letter, you could apply for an employer-restricted work permit which will have the validity of your job offer.
